In January 2025, we initiated the development of MINKA, a Swiss-based platform designed to bridge the gap between international donors and local projects in Bolivia and the broader Latin American region. Over a development period of three months, our goal was to create a user-friendly and trustworthy environment where individuals can support causes that resonate with them. MINKA offers a streamlined process for both donors and project creators: For Donors: Access to a variety of verified campaigns spanning sectors such as environmental conservation, education, and public health. The platform ensures transparency, allowing donors to see the impact of their contributions. For Project Creators: An intuitive interface to set up campaigns, undergo verification for authenticity, and share their stories to attract support. Key features include real-time currency conversion, secure payment gateways, and a robust verification system to ensure the legitimacy of campaigns.
